Ain’t she pretty? This is my favorite day-after-leg-day-and-I-am-soooo-sore juice, especially when I’ve hit the occasional green juice overload, and need a change of color (and flavor). When turmeric root is hard to find, I have instead stirred a teaspoon of powdered turmeric into the juice. Good stuff. Alkalinizing and refreshing, this cuppa goodness will be there for you in the hard times. Enjoy!
In a juicer, combine:
1 apple (I used golden delicious here)
1 handful fresh greens (I used romaine, but any green will work)
2 inch piece of ginger root (or less, if you prefer less heat)
1 inch piece of turmeric root
